Those exempted under certain sections of the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1920, or from the Foreigners Act, 1946 can also apply.
Expedited Process
The CAA facilitates expedited citizenship for eligible individuals, reducing the residency requirement to six years instead of twelve.
