Goa- The tiny state with a big charm

 Goa, a tiny emerald land on the west coast of India.

 It is the 25th state of the Union states of India, was liberated from Portuguese rule in 1961.

It was a part of Union Territory of Goa, Daman & Diu till 30th May 1987 when it was carved out of form a separate state.

Goa is India's smallest state, with a total area of 1,429 square miles.

Goa is the only state where UCC has been in operation for many years.

 Asia’s Only Naval Aviation Museum is at Goa.

The coconut tree, known as the “Kalpvriksha” or “tree of life,” is state tree of Goa.

 Goa is home to the Basilica of Bom Jesus church, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
