Eligibility
It is not limited by caste, gender, colour, or occupation. However, government employees, except doctors and scientists, and those associated with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) are not eligible
Padma Bhushan
Established on January 2, 1954, it is the third-highest civilian award for distinguished service of a high order
Eligibility
It is not restricted by caste, colour, creed, or gender, even government employees can receive this award, except those employed with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
Padma Shri
Instituted on January 2, 1954, it is the fourth-highest civilian award, which honours exceptional contributions in various fields
Eligibility
This award is not limited by any discrimination based on caste, colour, creed, or gender
